1.5 Billion Up For Grabes, Have You Caught Powerball Fever ????
Since there was no winner Saturday night, Wednesday nights drawing could make someone the first Billionaire in Powerball History.
18,315,365 people bought tickets for Saturday night’s record-setting drawing. Although there was no Powerball winner, the Lottery says that $159 Million were still handed out in prizes. There was one 2 million dollar winner and one million dollar winner from Connecticut, and one million-dollar winner from the Hudson Valley.
The next drawing will be held this Wednesday with an estimated prize of $1.5 billion. The lump sum would be over $800 million before taxes. This will be the largest jackpot ever given out in a lottery, shattering the old record of $656 million set back in 2012.
Currently the chances of hitting a powerball are 1 in 292 million. But, as they say, you never know. Will you be playing this week?
