Here in Connecticut we know that our education system is very strong, including our local high schools.

According to Patch, 15 schools in Connecticut were included in Newsweek's list of the Top 500 High Schools in America. Ridgefield and Newtown High Schools, right here in our neck of the woods, made the list.

Also in Fairfield County, Weston and Staples High Schools made the list at numbers 47 and 63 out of 500. Towns that also made the list were Lyme-Old Lyme, Daniel Hand in Madison, Simsbury, Farmington, Haddam-Killingworth, Pomperaug Regional High in Southbury, and more made the Newsweek list.

The list and rankings were determined by Enrollment Rate, Graduation Rate, Weighted SAT/ACT scores and more. We have some of the hard working and best teachers in the country and are so proud of our schools!
