40 Is The New……..Whatever (Look who’s 40 now)

Today, June 26th, is Yankee Captain Derek Jeter's 40th birthday, and that got me thinking,(which is always dangerous).

Remember when you were a kid and someone was turning the "Big 4-0", it seemed old didn't it. Well for some of us 40 has come and gone, but I was amazed at some of the stars who hit that magic mark this year. Boy I remember most of them before they were even born.(lol)

I did a little research for you, check out who already turned 40 this year.

Leonardo DiCaprio hit the 40 milestone this year. Wasn't he just that little kid on Growing Pains. Yes he was, but when he was only 17.

Ladies favorite Christian Bale was first cast in Steven Spielberg's Empire of the Sun at age 13. That was 27 years ago, wow.

Hillary Swank made her film debut with a small role in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, that was in 1992 and she was just 18 years old, and wasn't she just The Next Karate Kid ?

And then there's 40 year old Jimmy Fallon. Didn't I just see him hosting Weekend Update on SNL. Oh wait that was back in 2000 when he was just 26.
