Tuesday is the deadline for people to sign up for health coverage under the state insurance exchange.

You'd have to be living under a rock to not know loud and clear people on both sides of the health care fence have heated opinions about what we currently know as Obamacare.

But the reality is that many people need the coverage that it offers. Thousands of uninsured  found the ability to finally get health insurance. With the new administration however, there are many pieces to health care that will be in flux for the foreseeable future.

But until the American people find out what this new administration has planned in the health care arena many stll want the comfort of the coverage that Obamacare provided.

Tuesday Jan. 31 is the deadline for people to sign up for health coverage under the state insurance exchange. Officials at Access Health CT say open enrollment wraps up Jan. 31 at midnight. The exchange call center will be open until midnight. You can go online to accesshealthct.com for assistance. You can also call 855 - 805 - 4325 for immediate help.

People who sign before January 31st will be insured beginning on March 1st.
