  • Boy we drive A LOT! A 2013 survey by the U.S. Census Bureau revealed that Americans spent an average of almost 52 minutes on their commute each day. Also over 76 percent of Americans that drive to work alone while just under ten percent use a carpool. About 20 million people leave for work between 7 and 7:30 a.m. each morning. Only just over four percent of American workers are lucky enough to work from home.
  • The Kraft Heinz Company is expanding a recall of its Kraft Singles processed American cheese slices. The expanded recall covers one-pound packages of Kraft Singles as well as three and four-pound packages.   • Not good guy. A New York City teacher is under arrest for allegedly crashing a drone at the U.S. Open. Daniel Verley has been charged with reckless operation of a drone and operating a drone where it's not allowed. The drone crashed into an empty seating area at Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens Thursday night. No one was hurt.
  • It's a happy day for "Star Wars" fans. Merchandise from the upcoming "Star Wars" movie is now on sale. Toys and other merchandise from "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" are sale at Disney Stores in New York City, Chicago, and San Francisco. Toys R Us stores are also carrying the Star Wars merchandise, as well as select Walmart and Target stores, and online at Amazon.com.
