Drought woes continue for Connecticut. Is your water company asking you to cut back?

All you have to do is look at your lawn to know the conditions are bad in our state.

Back on September 30th I wrote a blog about the drought in Connecticut causing Aquarion Water Company asking customers in Fairfield Country to cut back their water use.

That lead to another blog titled: Drought Has Connecticut Drier Than A Popcorn Fart

Now one of the Connecticut's largest water utilities is asking customers to conserve. I don't want to say it's time to panic, but the dry conditions are very serious.

The Connecticut Water Company has issued a press release asking customers in Guilford, Madison, Clinton, Westbrook and Old Saybrook to cut water use by 15-percent. Add those towns to list that Aquarion asked to do the same: Stamford, Darien, New Canaan and Greenwich.

When you consider that the website U.S. Drought Monitor, shows that 85% of Connecticut is currently in a severe drought, it can't be long before every water company in our state looks for it's customers to majorly conserve.
