There have been a lot of reboot talks for shows that were on in the late '80s and the '90s. "Girl Meets World" has been pretty successful at telling the story of a new character who is the daughter of characters from the original popular show," Boy Meets World." Well, you can add one more '90s show to the list.

According to Fox CT, Will Smith is working on a project that would reboot "The Fresh Prince of Bel Air." This was a super popular show in the '90s (I loved it!). Everyone knew the words to the theme song and some knew the words to the full original theme song.

I loved the show, but I'm not sure how they would pull this off. I'm always up for seeing beloved characters come back. I mean, who wouldn't want Carlton (and the Carlton dance!) to come back? I'm just curious what the story line will be. So far there is no word what the plot will be and whether it will be a stand-alone show or a continuation, like "Girl Meets World" or "Fuller House."

None of the networks have been approached yet, but NBC said they would certainly talk to Smith about the show. NBC is the network where the original show appeared for six years. If it does go to production Smith will be executive producer as will his partners James Lassiter, Caleeb Pinkett, and Jada Pinkett-Smith.

We'll have to wait and see. Like I said, I'm always up for seeing beloved characters return. I've been loving "Girl Meets World" with all the original characters making appearances. So, I'll hold out hope that this will be good too. One think is for sure, it won't be the same without Uncle Phil.
