Arrest in New Milford After Local Man Encourages Cop Shootings

According to the News Times, 28-year-old Ryan Camaioni from New Milford was arrested Friday, and charged with inciting injury to persons and second degree breach of peace. It is reported that he posted a message and photo expressing that people should, "Start killing the cops."

Real bright, moron.

First off, how did you not know that was a crime? Second, do we need this type of thing right now? The whole world has gone mad. There are no two sides to this issue. The police are there to protect you from yourself and others. Just by showing up to their job, they are risking their lives for you. They do this knowing full well that there are people like you out there, who wish them harm.

I am a huge supporter of the police. It is now a thankless job. They are constantly under the microscope. They are constantly having to explain every action they take. They have to put up with morons who refuse to obey the law. They have to make split-second decisions in the line of duty when lives are on the line. For all of that, what do they get? Constantly disrespected is what they get. Anyone who advertises that people should shoot a cop should do hard time.

I cannot remember a time in my life where this country was more divided. It's as if we have unraveled hundreds of years of social progress in a matter of a few years. I have never heard more ignorance, intolerance or stupidity than I have this past year. I hope all of this can be fixed, but everyday, I wake up, and it seems to get worse. Good luck to us.
