It's almost like clockwork as soon as a giant snow storm comes through the area, people neglect to clean off their cars.

This might get you to brush all that snow off your car, once you learn about the ramifications if you fail to. The State of Connecticut has a law in place that states if you don't clean your car off, and you drive on any CT roadway, you could face a fine starting at $75 per infraction. 

According to WTNH New Haven, this law has been around for a couple of years and is regularly enforced. State Lt. Vance has stated that:

Debris, ice, snow, can be, and has been, contributing cause to motor vehicle accidents and it presents danger to people who have a right to be safe on roads you’re traveling on.

How Rude!

Long story short, it's a pain in the behind, but it only takes a few minutes to clean off your automobile. Nobody has time to pay a fine!
