Time to say goodbye to the mild weather, just like we said goodbye to 2015. An arctic blast of cold weather will be with us just in time for the first work week of the New Year.

Looks like we’re going to pay the price over the next few days with bitterly cold temperatures on Monday and Tuesday night. A cold front is forecast to roll in Sunday evening issuing in a rush of Arctic air and frigid temperatures.

According to newstimes.com, the National Weather Service says the coldest readings will be on Monday night when the thermometer will fall into the single numbers in interior sections of Connecticut and New York.
