The Danbury Police Department is actively seeking information on a man suspected of robbing a bank on North Street Wednesday (Jan. 18).

According to a press release, Officers responded to the Union Savings Bank located at 126 North Street at about 3:00 PM today (January 18) after a robbery was reported. In true stereotypical, bank-robber fashion, the suspect pictured above reportedly handed a note to a bank teller, letting her know he had a weapon on his person.

He was last seen running on Hayestown Avenue heading toward Tamarack in the area of the North Street Shopping Center.  He has been described as a 5'8'' white male with a husky build.
