A fun event is returning to Downtown Bethel this Halloween.

Each year the town holds a Trick-or-Treat Street where the kids can go trick-or-treating on Greenwood Ave. Local businesses hand out candy and other goodies to the kids.

This year the event will be held on Halloween, since the holiday falls on Saturday. To kick it off there are events that will happen on the front lawn of the Municipal Center.

The events include a dance party, a costume contest, games, inflatables, and a magic show. After the party at the Municipal Center the kids can start trick-or-treating.

Here are the times for the different events:

  • 11 a.m.: Magic Show - This happens inside the Municipal Center
  • 12 p.m. Halloween Party - This happens on the front lawn of the Municipal Center and includes the dance party, costume contest, games, and inflatables.
  • 1 p.m.- 3 p.m.: Trick-or-Treat Street - This happens at businesses along Greenwood Ave.

For more information, you can check out the Bethel Chamber of Commerce website.

If you have a business and would like to be a vendor at the event on the lawn, you can contact Bobbi Jo Beers at the Bethel Chamber of Commerce.
