The North End of town is very busy today.

Two incidents in Waterbury's North End have made the morning interesting in the Brass City. First, a bomb threat was called into Wilby High School, and that has caused the building to be evacuated. According to a post on NBCCONNECTICUT.COMschool officials expect the investigation to be wrapped up shortly.

The Waterbury Republican-American is also reporting that just down the street from Wilby HS, dive teams are responding to reports of an SUV submerged in Lakewood Lake near the North Main Street area.

I think someone was distracted by the very last Lakewood Italian Feast poster that has been hanging on the telephone pole near the Dunkin Donuts, or, maybe they just wanted to take a swim in the cooling brown-green water.
