I love moose. Mooses? Meese? I think it's just moose. Anyway, we have about 100 of these fine animals in Connecticut and I hope it stays that way, or grows larger. Moose are HUGE by the way. Having gone to Maine every year of my life since I was 3 weeks old, I have learned to respect the big, majestic animal.

Sad to say a moose was killed this morning in Connecticut. Around 4:30 AM, a tractor trailer hit a female moose on I-84 in Southington. Poor Moose. A tractor trailer is pretty much the only thing that could take out a moose. Your little car would get more hurt than the moose itself. So that's why it's important to slow down, and brake for moose, because you could get hurt, or the moose could get hurt, and nobody wins.

Also, if you see a moose, just leave it alone. Slowly walk away. Don't scream. Don't yell. Don't wave your arms. It wants to be left alone.

This is to keep you and the animals safe. We are all inhabitants of this world. :)
