What in the ever lovin' heck is the Pothole Killer?

Sadly, potholes appear to be the way of life in New England. Coming off a hard Winter and now a very wet Spring, much like weeds, potholes are popping up everywhere.

I know I'm not in the minority when I say I've lost more than one tire to a pothole.

Truth be told, I'd never heard of the Pothole Killer, other than to know it's what I utter under my breath along with some choice curse words when I hit one. But it is a very real thing!

In a press release from the City of Bridgeport, the Pothole Killer has returned. The city is making it their priority to get the potholes repaired around the city and they are renting the machine for the next month.

According to the release, the Pothole Killer is a machine that uses a hydraulic boom to clear debris from a pothole site, then make the repair and applies liquid asphalt.

It's a mine field out there people. And don't even get me started on the delays we're going to experience at the DOT starts pothole patching and repair. Seems as if the Pothole Killer is quick and efficient, so I'm pleading with the whole state to rent it
