Jayce Correia of Brookfield had some extra time with his son Jared recently because of a school delay, so he sat down and made a video of a song he composed especially for his son.

"I always like to put on music because he loves it. So, I put on some music and the lyrics just poured out of me, straight from the heart," Jayce told the News Times Live.

Jared has hydrocephalus (sometimes referred to as water on the brain) brain condition that was caused by a stroke he suffered before birth. Jared is blind and uses a wheelchair.

The video shows Jayce with Jared, who's bobbing and swaying with his dad's song:

Jayce is a songwriter by profession. He's also works as a tire installer at the Costco in Brookfield.
When he as born, Jared was given a few months to live. He'll turn 9 on June 30.
