Brookfield Ready To Sizzle With 6th Annual Race

It's that time of year again. Time for the annual Sunset Sizzler 5K Road Race at Brookfield High School.

Attention, runners: the 6th annual Sunset Sizzler 5K Road Race will take place this Friday evening, August 3, at Brookfield High School at 7 PM. This USATF certified 5K will begin and end at Brookfield High School. The race is hosted by the BHS All Sports Booster Club and benefits all the High School athletic programs and all the sports teams.

Walkers are also welcome, and you can register on site the day of the race. Race kits will be distributed to all runners and filled with goodies and coupons!

The last day to pre-register for the race is this Wednesday August 1st.

Here's the Race Day Schedule:

• Registration opens - 5:30 pm
• Race Starts - 7:00 pm

 Entry fees

• Adult - $25 (before August 3)
• Student - $20 (before August 3)
• Race Day - $30

The Booster Club is also looking for volunteers to help out at the event.
