At the 2016 ACM Honors on Aug. 30, Little Big Town received the Crystal Milestone Award, an honor that commemorates “a specific, remarkable achievement” — specifically, the success of their song “Girl Crush.” During the ceremony, Cam and pop star Alicia Keys performed the hit -- and they brought the house down.

“Girl Crush” has earned a plethora of honors since its release as a single in December of 2014: The song won two CMA Awards and two Grammys, received two ACM Awards nominations, broke a long-standing chart record and went double platinum. Readers can press play on the video above to see a snippet of Cam and Keys' rendition of the song, which floored even LBT: “I don’t think I want to sing that song again,” the quartet’s Jimi Westbrook said upon receiving their award.

Prior to their performance, Keys raved about her love of the country music genre; “I really love the way country music honors and respects poetry,” she said. Cam, meanwhile, gushed on the red carpet about sharing the stage with the Grammy winner and having the opportunity to recognize Little Big Town.

“She is such a strong woman and [has] the most amazing voice. The whole time, I was gushing over her and yelling swear words at how amazing she is,” she confessed. “[“Girl Crush”] has been huge for such a long time ... [and Little Big Town] are a fine-tuned, amazing set of music makers."

The ACM Honors air on TV for the very first time on Sept. 9. The show will begin at 9PM ET on CBS.
