Candlewood Lake Fireworks Set for Saturday Night

Hopefully the third time will be a charm for the annual Candlewood Lake Fireworks rescheduled for this Saturday Night.After having to be rescheduled, the Danbury Volunteer Fire Department and Candlewood Lake Authority are hoping for nicer weather for their Independence Day fireworks display set for this Saturday, Aug. 22.

The display had to be postponed twice due to rainy weather back in July, this week the national weather service is calling for a 60% chance of scattered thundershowers on Saturday and Sunday. Just keep your fingers crossed.

The rain date is Sunday, Aug. 23.
