Charley Jenkins didn't refer to Country Jam Colorado 2015 as a festival; he dubbed it a "family reunion." The Utah native took the stage on the last day of the event, and he saw lots of familiar faces in the crowd.

From the moment he walked onstage, Jenkins interacted with those who braved the heat to see his set. He pointed, laughed, waved hello and even complimented one pretty lady's "six pack."

"If we're not related, I wanna be related .... but then I'd ask for money," he admitted to fans.

Jenkins played his own tunes, including one about a better way to live. His most surprising song was a cover by the pop group the Black Eyed Peas. The singer and a female member of his band collaborated on "I Gotta Feeling," and then Jenkins performed renditions of "Thank God I'm a Country Boy," "Mama Tried," "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" and "The Joker."

But one cover stuck out more than the rest, as the singer got up close and personal with a couple sitting close, calling out the man when he realized the pair had been dating five years, but still aren't engaged.

"What the hell is wrong with you, sir?" Jenkins joked, then grabbing a chair and serenading the woman with "My Girl." The man took it pretty well, taking photos of his girl and the country singer before pulling her aside so they could dance together.

Jenkins' set wasn't all fun and jokes, however — he also covered a song that he wrote when a friend was in the hospital waiting for a heart transplant. "This song means a lot to me personally," he revealed to the Country Jam crowd. The beautiful tune was a reminder to fans that sometimes, "mountains don't move."

As his Country Jam 2015 fell on Father's Day, the singer left the stage after imparting some wisdom from his own dad: "If it wasn't for music, we wouldn't get up in the afternoon."
