‘CMA Country Christmas’ Is On Tonight — Got a Favorite Tune?
It's not only beginning to look a lot like Christmas, but it's sounding a lot like it too. CMA's Annual Christmas Special is on tonight at 8 pm on ABC.
You know it’s the music that makes the season bright, and there’s nothing like a few good Country Christmas Songs to really get you in the spirit of the Holiday, and tonight you can catch some of your favorite Country Superstars singing some of their favorite Country Christmas songs
Everyone has their favorites, so I figured I would put together a list of my Top 5 favorite Country Christmas Songs. I hope a few are your favorites too.

Do You Hear What I Hear- Carrie Underwood
Country superstar Carrie Underwood is no stranger to Christmas material. Over the course of her explosive career, she has recorded Christmas standards like ‘O Holy Night,’ ‘The First Noel’ and ‘I’ll Be Home for Christmas’, but her rendition of the traditional ‘Do You Hear What I Hear’ is a standout.

Christmas Cookies- George Strait
George Strait didn’t release his most well-known Christmas song on any of his own holiday albums. ‘Christmas Cookies’ can only be found on compilation albums, like ‘A Country Superstar Christmas III’ and ‘A Country Christmas’ from 1999. Song. This song is a little campy, but probably the only tribute to Christmas cookies ever recorded. Warning, once you hear this song, it'll be stuck in your head, and you'll start singing it every time someone offers you a Christmas cookie.

It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas- Brett Eldredge
Talk about sounding "old school" or "retro". Brett picks up where Bing Crosby, Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Ray Charles left off — by adding that swing and that soul to a great selection of Christmas Classic's from his debut Holiday album, "Glow".

Where Are You Christmas- Faith Hill
Faith almost didn't even record this holiday classic. Written by Mariah Carey, she was all set to release the song, but because of a legal battle with then ex husband, record mogel Tommy Matola, it could not legally be released, so Faith jumped on it and recorded it. The song was featured in the movie 'How The Grinch Stole Christmas' in 2000, and has gone on to become a Country Christmas classic.

Candy Cane Christmas- Darius Rucker
Darius Rucker is certainly a gifted vocalist having proven that in both rock and, country. But with ‘Candy Cane Christmas,’ Rucker gave us a vocal performance that is so different from anything else he’s done. Recorded in 2009 for a compilation titled ‘Now That’s What I Call Christmas, he also featured the song during a CMA Christmas show a few years later. I love this holiday song, especially the hook, and you know we love the Darius, so that's why it's #1 on my list.
