A few weeks ago there was a fire in Newtown and the resident of the house lost everything. Frank Rocca II got out safe, as did his dog - so no lives where lost, thank goodness!

Frank and I went to high school together, we were in the same class. I cannot begin to imagine what he is going through. He lost everything and, basically, has to start over.

People have been very generous and have donated clothes, money, etc., which is wonderful and he is very grateful. There has been a gofundme set up to help him start to rebuild.

If you are able to, please help Frank and donate. Whether it's clothes, a gift card, a donation to the gofundme, anything helps and is so very appreciated.

It is always heartwarming to see a community come together and help someone, most of the time someone they don't even know! It goes a long way to restore your faith in humanity!

One of the donations was from two teachers that taught at Newtown High School when we were there. It feels good to see things like that.
