I had the pleasure of meeting Maryann Daino and Dennis Klaus at an i95 event a few months back, and you couldn't as for two nicer people!

Their story made front page news in the News-Times yesterday.  But in case you missed it here goes.

Maryann and Dennis  were living in New York and they both lost their homes in the horrific Hurricane Sandy storm. They relocated to Connecticut to rebuild their lives and now live in New Milford.

Maryann recently bought a Connecticut lottery $2 draw game, five Card Cash ticket from Hess on 20 Danbury Rd. in New Milford.

Turns out that little purchase was a WINNER and she scored one of the top prizes of $255,555. SWEET!!!  Maryann and Dennis plan to put the money towards their dream home.

Many months ago they both came to a promotion that I was hosting for i95. They told me a bit of their story of loss and meeting each other. They were the sweetest and two of the happiest people I've ever met. Even in the face of all the devastation of Hurricane Sandy that they endured, they were so cheery and upbeat.

CONGRATULATIONS to them. This BIG WIN couldn't have happened to a nicer couple!
