Connecticut Country Singer Wants To See That ‘Booty Shakin’

He grew up in Southbury, but he's Country Strong. He's Mike Collins, and he wants everyone to Shake Your Country Booty.

When you grow up in the Northeast, it's tough to make it as a Country Star, but Mike Collins has the passion and drive. Ladies, he's got the look too!

He's also been writing and working on some new music that is due out on July 16, and he's appearing this weekend at the Goshen Stampede. You can catch him there Friday and Saturday opening up for headliner, Josh Thompson.

He and his band stopped by "Kicks in the Morning" on Friday, and talked about his evolution from Heavy Metal to Country, and debuted his new song "Booty Shakin".
