If you're enjoying this mini spring break, you're not alone -- I'm with you.

It looks like we're in for three consecutive days with a temperature high of warmer than 60 degrees, which started yesterday and should carry through tomorrow. While this incredible weather in February is unusual, it's not record breaking.

Normally, this time of year, our high temperature is in the low 40s, according to WTNH TV. Their meteorologist tells us the record high temperature for inland Connecticut on this date in history, which was 73 degrees. That was all the way back when MTV still played music videos -- 1985. When you think about it, that’s a long time ago. You may have been waiting to rent a copy of your favorite movie on VHS or teasing your hair.

We’re not breaking that record today, but here’s another unusual fact: We’ve only had a string of three back-to-back 60 degree days in February like this three times since 1905.

So when all is said and done, we’re not breaking records, but this is definitely not normal, and it's pretty amazing if you need a little spring break before winter charges back in.
