There are so many times in life where a simple gesture can make a huge impact. Have you ever been in a car accident? As an adult, it is a scary situation even if it's a minor incident. Imagine how a child processes the whole ordeal. The Connecticut State Troopers now have some help for kids in stressful situations.

While an adult can reason with what is going on, a child has a lot of steps to go through before they come to a conclusion in their own minds. That whole process can become quite scary.

There is a post on the Connecticut State Police's Facebook page that really warmed my heart. A woman from CT named Kathy donated several bags of teddy bears to police headquarters. These stuffed furry pals will be kept in the police cruisers and given to children who may be involved in a scary situation, like a car accident, in the hopes of making it less frightening.

The world needs more people like Kathy from CT and the CT State Police. Talk about going above and beyond! This is truly "paying it forward."
