So we all know how ridiculous this political correctness thing has gotten as the years have gone by, right?  Well, it looks like a CT school district is using that path to eliminate Halloween celebrations.

According to The News Times, the school district down on the shoreline town of Milford, CT is banning Halloween in their schools as the season rolls around. Local parents are very upset over this because apparently the school system is banning any Halloween celebrations due to the fear of kids who "won't participate in the tradition."

They are afraid of how some children might be offended due to religion or cultural beliefs. Now it looks like any events that take place in Milford schools for the season will be labeled "fall themed" rather than Halloween.

Apparently there has been a petition brought around asking to restore the traditions in the schools, specifically the costume parade signed by over 200 people.

So now that it's "fall" themed, what are the kids supposed to dress up as?  Leaves?

Oh, that's right there won't be any dressing up.  This is the same nonsense that's happened during the Christmas season in schools and in the general public. Apparently you can't celebrate a mainstream holiday because some people might get "offended."

My opinion?  Let them be offended and celebrate the holiday!
