You're invited to enjoy some fantastic food while helping to put clothes on the backs of needy children in Connecticut.

I have your dinner plans for Thursday Dec. 1 in Connecticut. While you eat and drink you can feel the warmth of knowing your are helping children in need in Fairfield County.

There is a fantastic organization called Clothes to Kids and they have a location in Fairfield County. Their mission statement is:

To provide new and quality used clothing to low-income or in-crisis school age children in Fairfield County, Connecticut—free of charge.

Here's where you come in. On December 1 they are holding the 1st Annual Cook For Kids Fundraiser from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Aitoro, 401 Westport Avenue in Norwalk. Kick off the weekend a day early by being treated to great hors d'oeuvres prepared by local chefs, enjoy some wine and bid on silent auction items. You might just find that perfect holiday gift!

Click on Cook For Kids to buy your tickets now.

Can't attend but still would love to help out the kids? For information on donating, clothing drives, volunteering and more go to clothestokidsfairfiledcounty.org

To me it's a win - win situation. You have a great night out, you don't have to cook, and children in Connecticut will have a better life.
