Are Country & Pop Song Collaborations Good for Music or Not?
Luke Bryan says in one of his songs that "Rain is a good thing", but what about all the latest Country/Pop collaborations?
If you haven't noticed, the latest trend to come out of Nashville is Country/Pop collaborations. There's Brad Paisley and Demi Lovato, Kenny Chesney and Pink, Dierks Bentley and Elle King, Florida Georgia Line and The Backstreet Boys.
Now, much of what we're seeing now is a spin off from the popular CMT Show Country Crossroads, where Country and Pop artists are paired to sing each others songs.
If you're a Country Music purest, you may not be too happy with this, but it's not something new to the genre. Believe it or not, it's happened before, and with great success. Check out this list of the five best Country/Pop collaborations:

Tim McGraw and Nelly
"Over and Over"Nelly included this song on his album Suit, and hand-picked Tim McGraw as his duet partner for the tune. The song reach #1 on four different charts.
