  • Looking good for Danbury.The State Bond Commission is funding the first series of projects as part of the Governor's $100 billion transportation vision. Among the projects funded are $10 million towards the widening of I-84 in Danbury and $4 million for the Metro North Danbury line. Also $400,000 for a study of a rapid bus corridor between Stamford and Norwalk.
  • Baby you can drive my car. Connecticut residents are taking advantage of a new program that pays $3,000 rebates to people who buy electric cars. Over $200,000 have been paid out to electric car buyers since the program began in May.
  • And you thought only Kim Kardashian could break it! Some tech experts have said the Windows 10 launch today has the potential to "break" the Internet. Why? Because download traffic is expected to be nearly unprecedented. Among the features is a new web browser that allows users to make notes directly on web pages and share them with friends.
  • A good way to lose weight and keep it off is to stop eating before you're stuffed.The Food and Drug Administration just approved something called the ReShape Integrated Dual Balloon System. In testing of the balloon system, close to 60-percent of obese patients lost an average of more than 14 pounds over six months.
