  • Police in Connecticut are ending a controversial program that involved officers taking items from unlocked vehicles for safekeeping. It was launched Monday in New Haven, and police say it ended Tuesday. City attorneys are concerned about legal issues that could arise.

 

  • NASA will present new findings on Mars' atmosphere this afternoon. The news conference starts at 2 p.m. and it will be broadcast live on NASA-TV and on the NASA website. NASA also will answer questions via social media using the hashtag #AskNASA.
