Road rage sucks, but it's unthinkable when it involves kids.

Dirt bag. Yup, I said it. I'm thinking you did too -- maybe even worse. Because as much as I can understand how driving rage can fester in your heart, there is still no excuse for acting on it, especially when it involves a school bus.

According to a story from fox61.com, a former publisher of Forbes magazine is facing charges that accuse him of apparent road rage -- rage that involved a school bus in Connecticut, according to police.

I think that probably most of us have gotten stuck behind a slow moving school bus, and maybe swore under our breathe, but it just is what it is. Evidently not for this guy. He appears to have taken that anger and ratcheted it up beyond belief. Wait until you read how police are saying that it went down.

In the account from fox61.com, police say James Berrien of Westport is accused of blocking a school bus in Fairfield and worse, actually getting on it. According to the bus driver, the bus and the Berrien's car got to an intersection at the same time, and the bus then drove through. That appears to be the straw that broke the camel's back.

The bus driver says that Berrien started tailgating the bus, and then when the bus driver stopped to let kids off, the unthinkable happened. Berrien is being accused of forcing his way onto the bus and screaming at the driver as children hid in the back.

Berrien is charged with disorderly conduct and breach of peace. His day in court comes up on Feb. 15. Let's see him try to defend his behavior.
