Halloween 2016. Presidential election 2016. Pretty scary stuff for sure. Ripe for some great displays of creativity on the decoration front.

I'm not a fan of Halloween. I'm not a fan of this year's presidential election either. Enough said by me.

That said, it turns out that a guy from Connecticut has been majorly inspired by the political season for his Halloween outdoor display this year. In a story from nbcconnecticut.com,  Matt Warshauer of West Hartford created statues of the presidential candidates.

There's a model of a screaming Donald Trump at the top of an eight-foot high border wall manned by armed guards. Hillary Clinton is in the display riding the Democratic Party's donkey mascot.

Trick - or - Treat indeed.
