Uhhhhh...what?!

I came across an article at Ctpost.com and had to take a moment before reacting. I am actually still coming to terms with this in my own head. I also have to remember "innocent until proven guilty". But when a child is involved, it really twists that concept for me.

A Wilton police officer drove by Wilton Auto and Tire on Danbury Road during his routine patrol last Friday night when he noticed a car in the parking lot around 10:30pm. He found 23-year-old Emily Curcio of Stratford sitting in the car with a 15-month-old baby in the back seat. But that's not all that he found. Curcio also had marijuana, a pipe and previously smoked joints in her car.

Oh, and she also failed a field sobriety test.

The Department of Children and Families has been notified and Curcio is to appear in court on Monday, November 27. She faces charges of possession of marijuana, driving under the influence and driving under the influence.
