Well, at least they're consistent.

Back towards the end of August, people -- me included -- started getting super excited about the upcoming fall season. Pumpkin Spice coffee made an early comeback to Dunkin Donuts, football season was lurking, and the weather was getting a bit chillier at night. Who could blame us fall lovers?

The Connecticut State Police took notice to the on going "fall-madness" all over social media, and decided to put a stop to it. The boys in blue took to their official Facebook page to warn social media fall posters that they would be fined if they spoke about fall too early. Obviously, it was all in good fun, but now that it is officially fall, have they changed their tune?

It looks like it. The Connecticut State Police sent out a press release that makes my fall loving heart race, stating:

With the temperatures starting to slowly cool and fair season in full swing, it has become apparent that we are leafing summer behind for the year. As we fall into the new season, Connecticut residents are encouraged to fill their social media feeds with foliage (*leaf peeping), corn mazes, hay rides, pumpkin carving, sweatshirts, and pumpkin spice flavored everything.

They're officially giving us permission to enjoy the beautiful fall weather. Not only are they having fun, but they're also being informative. They'll be hosting "Coffee with a Cop" October 14th from 4p-6p at the I-91 north exit 20 rest area in Middletown.
