Have you looked at the calendar? Election day is right around the corner. Sort of like cramming for an exam, if you'd like to get a leg up, you can prepare in advance. Ballots and important info can be found online in Connecticut.

No doubt the 2016 election will be one for the history books.

The state of Connecticut wants to make sure you are as prepared as you can be. To that end Secretary of the State Denise Merrill says ballots for every Connecticut town or city are now available for viewing online, giving registered voters an opportunity to get familiar with the general election ballots before November 8.

The ballots can be found at the Secretary of State website. Click on sots.ct.gov to view your city or towns ballot. Once on the site, you can link to your city or town ballot.

On Election Day, Nov. 8, polls will be open from 6:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. for registered voters in Connecticut.

You can't complain about the outcome if you don't exercise your right to VOTE.
