Danbury High School Teacher Charged With Sexual Assault [VIDEO]

As a father of three children who either graduated from or are still attending Danbury High School, my one question is ..."what was this teacher (allegedly) thinking?"

Since this story broke back in February, the debate in our house over this unbelievable story was: is the student making this up to get this teacher in trouble or was this teacher, in her first year at the high school, that stupid. What happened here?

Well last night, the school's instant alert system provided some answers.

According to nbcconnecticut.com Kayla Mooney a 24-year-old science teacher at Danbury High School was charged with sexual assault and providing alcohol to a minor. She turned herself in to police around 5 p.m. Tuesday.
