Danbury Library Looks to Community Children for Updated Design

Calling all young artists in the Danbury area? Danbury Library is looking for a new design for their library cards.

Creativity and color are key so be creative and break out your art materials. This is your chance to make your mark. Only original artwork will be accepted and the design must fit within a 8 x 5 inch horizontal rectangle. The entry cannot have any copyright restrictions. Click here for the guidelines to follow.

Students in grades K-12 may enter and Danbury Library will pick two winners, one from grades K-5 and another from grades 6-12 who will receive a $100 Amazon gift card.

Make sure to get those designs in by February 16th at 5pm to the Junior Floor Desk or you can e-mail the entry to tcarvalho@danburylibrary.org.

Danbury Library will dispaly the entries from February 26th. The winners will be announced at an awards celebration on Wednesday, March 7th, 2018 at 5:30pm.
