Danbury Man Takes Romance to New Heights With Over-the-Top Proposal

When Nando decided to propose to Jessica in early July, he knew he wanted to do something that would really be special to show her how much he loves her. So, with some careful planning and a few well placed phone calls, he came up with a plan that would take their love to new heights.

After 19 months of dating, and on the anniversary of their first date, he chartered a helicopter, had some letters made that would rival the famous Hollywood sign in size, and picked up a bunch of heart shaped balloons. What happened next is something Jessica could have never imagined.

I was able to contact Nando through an old friend of mine, Carlos Rodriguez of Custom Made Video in Danbury,the videographer who shot the proposal. I invited Nando and Jessica on the show to share their love story.
