Though 19-year-old Ian Bick is facing federal charges for running a $500,000 Ponzi scheme, he told NBC Connecticut “it feels right in my heart that this is what I should be doing.”

Bick, who owns Tuxedo Junction in Danbury, was charged federal fraud, money laundering, making false statements, mail fraud, wire fraud and other charges connected to a Ponzi scheme the teen allegedly ran.

The 2014 Danbury High School graduate was arrested on Friday, and could face decades in jail, according to Danbury Daily Voice. He is accused of using the money to buy jet skis and pay for hotel stays.

But apparently, he is OK with this …

“I’ve been through a lot in my life, and I’ve learned a lot in those experiences,’’ Bick told NBC Connecticut. “Every one of those bad experiences and good experiences brought me to this point. It feels right in my heart that this is what I should be doing. It’s going to become very successful.”
