It's been 14 years since the tragic attacks of 9/11, and cities and towns all over Connecticut and New York are marking the day with remembrance ceremonies.

Even though it's been 14 years, we all still remember where we were and exactly what we were doing when we first learned of the horrific attacks on September 11th, 2001. It was truly one of, if not the darkest day in American History.

As we approach this years anniversary towns and cities throughout Connecticut and New York are marking the day with special remembrances. Danbury is holding a 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony Friday, Sept. 11 at 6 p.m. in Elmwood Park on Main Street, the site of the towns 9/11 memorial. It will honor those civilians we lost, and the finest and bravest who gave the ultimate sacrifice.
