So you didn't win the $759 Million Wednesday night? Well, just about all of us came up empty, however there were a few million dollar tickets sold in Connecticut and New York.

According to patch.com, as most of us were caught up in the Powerball Fever, one single mom in Torrington decided at the last minute to try her luck and pick up a single ticket. She used numbers from her kids birthdays and managed to hit five of the six numbers to pocket a cool Million Dollars.

Johanna Moreno purchased the ticket at North Elm Mobil on North Elm Street in Torrington. She says she's going to use some of her lucky winnings to get a new car, a house for her and her kids, and she also wants to head back to school.

There was also one $2 Million  winning ticket sold in Connecticut, however that winner hasn't come forward to claim their winnings yet.

In New York, there were three Powerball tickets sold that today are worth $1,000,000, and 32 tickets that are worth $50,000.

The $759 million jackpot is the second highest in Powerball history, and the one winning ticket was sold in Massachusetts.

Here are the winning numbers from the Aug. 23, 2017 jackpot: 6-7-16-23-26 and Powerball 4.
