Ahhhh, love is in the air at KICKS 105.5. With Valentine's Day here, we figured what better way to celebrate than with the Ultimate Country Summer of Love?

Here's the reason Mellisa sent in telling us why she needed to win this great prize:

"A few years ago, my boyfriend Phil and I fell in love through country music. We used to send songs to each other throughout the day with lyrics that reminded us of one another or that just showed how we were feeling at that moment in time. ('Need you now' by Lady A was a big one before we were living together!) Ten months ago Phil and I were blessed with a beautiful baby girl however, very shortly after, the company he worked for unexpectedly went out of business. This was an untimely curve ball for us as a family. With a 2 month old at home, Phil was forced to take on two full time jobs in order to make ends meet (totaling over 90 hours a week and another 17 in travel). Needless to say, this has left me to raise our daughter largely on my own and has caused Phil to be torn away from his family. The few hours a week that Phil is able to be home are spent playing with our little girl and trying to build up their father daughter relationship. As you can imagine, this has taken quite a toll on his and my relationship as well. We have little to no time together, a lot of stress and no extra money for date nights to try to nurture our relationship. Phil is an amazingly supportive and hard working person who deserves a little break and some fun in his life. I would love to be able to surprise him with these concert tickets and have the opportunity to fall in love through country music all over again".
