Every year it's the same ole' argument: Happy Holidays or Merry Christmas.

Everyone always gets fired up about each side. Big arguments ensue, and then a bunch of dumb opinions are thrown into the air. Ya know what I think!?!

I don't care what you WISH me. Just the fact that you're going out of your way to acknowledge me is enough, and I think that's what we need to get back to.

You see, this time of the year is when we all forget we hate most people and we actually show some compassion and care towards other human beings.

Sadly, we don't really do that the other times of the year. And most of our world is filled with stories of people being assholes to each other (if you disagree, just look around you).

The fact that we even wish people some sort of happiness is the best thing possible.

If someone wants to say "Happy Holidays", let them say it. Don't be mad if they didn't "respect" things enough. That person is respecting you. PERIOD!

And it goes the other way around with "Merry Christmas." Don't celebrate Christmas?

Then just be merry. Have a good life. That's what this is all about. Wishing good things upon people. Who cares the way it's said, as long as it's said!

I wish good things upon you. Keep smiling.
