For all you Fall lovers out there, the Connecticut State Police have a message for you.

I am one of the many people excited about the upcoming fall season. Pumpkin spice coffees, apple picking, Halloween - they're all things that I absolutely love. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with summer. I love the beach, BBQs, and outdoor concerts, but fall will always come out on top.

I know that many feel like I do, judging from Facebook posts alone. I'm seeing countdowns until fall actually begins and even Christmas posts (which is taking it too far). The Connecticut State Police Department thought they would have some fun at the expense of us fall lovers. Take a look a one of their recent Facebook posts:

In a post titled "An Act Concerning Fall Madness" the CT State Police say it is now a "fineable offence" to post on social media about anything to do with fall until September 22 when fall actually begins. They take it a step further and say they will double the fine if they read anything about winter or snow.

Of course, it's all in good fun, but if they took a look at my social media pages, I'd be broke!
