Ellen Wins Her 8th Daytime Emmy Award

Ellen DeGeneres took home her 8th Daytime Emmy Award last night at the 41st annual Emmy Awards in Beverly Hills.

"The Ellen DeGeneres Show" received its 8th trophy as Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show at the awards on Sunday night.

Comedian Kathy Griffin hosted the awards last night along with Mario Lopez and Billy Bush as presenters.

The “Steve Harvey” show took home an award for Outstanding Informative Talk Show, and Harvey also won Best Game show host for “Family Feud.”

ABC’s “Good Morning America” won the best morning program Emmy.

CBS’ “The Young and the Restless” took home a total of six awards including Best Drama Series
