Toro is located at 28 Church Hill Road in Newtown and is my personal favorite for the freshest and tastiest sushi. CT Magazine also named them as one of the best Japanese and sushi restaurants in Connecticut. You'll find their RW menu right HERE.
The winner of many awards from Connecticut Magazine, Sal e Pepe is located at 97 South Main Street in Newtown and is known for their homemade Italian dishes like Mrs. Marini's Lasagna Bolognese. Check out their RW menu.
Mexicali Rose can be found at 71 South Main Street in Newtown and was named one of Connecticut's best Mexican restaurants by CT Magazine in their 2017 Best Restaurant's Edition. In the mood for Mexican this week, click this link for Mexicali Rose's RW menu.
Sitting right on the corner of Glen Road and Church Hill Road in Sandy Hook is the Foundry which gets an impressive 4 out of 5 stars on Yelp.com. One reviewer was so impressed by his Reuben sandwich he just had to take a photo! Outdoor seating overlooking the river was a big plus along with the Yucca fries and Fish Tacos.
