My family and I love to take walks at local parks, and there are a lot of good ones in the area. I wrote about our walk at Putnam Park, and thought I would continue the series with another local park we recently visited.

Another favorite park that we like to visit is Tarrywile Park in Danbury. This park has a few different areas, which makes it appealing to lots of people. The kids love the children's area that is down the hill from the mansion. The hiking trails are great for people who are looking for more rugged terrain, and the castle is something that most people don't mind trekking up the hill to see.

The children's area is really cute. It has a butterfly maze, butterfly chairs, picnic tables, and other fun things for the kids. Our kids love walking around that area, because everything is sized for them.

The hiking trails can offer some really nice views. Once it warms up, and things are green again, you can get some really beautiful pictures from some of the higher points on the trails.

The mansion is really nice too. It's a popular place for weddings and other parties. I told my husband that we should have a joint birthday party, because it looks like it would be a lot of fun. I love the curved sun room at the back of the mansion.

The castle is a really cool sight to see. Unfortunately, it needs a lot of work. There are gates around it, and you can't (and shouldn't) get too close to it.

So, with the warmer weather coming soon, this is a good park to have on your list of places to explore. Lots to see and explore at this location.

A couple of things. If you bring a dog, make sure to keep them on a leash, and please pick up after them. If you have garbage, please hold on to it until you see a garbage can. Let's work together to keep our parks clean!

I took a lot of pictures, which you can see below. Love Tarrywile Park!
