Universal Studios in Florida is home to the extremely popular The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. There are two different Harry Potter sections at Universal and you can get between them by way of the Hogwarts Express train.

With the popularity of the parks, it's no surprise that fans have been going there to pay tribute to the late Alan Rickman. In the movies, Rickman played Professor Snape, a teacher at Hogwarts that turns out to be one of the biggest heroes of the series.

This past weekend Universal Studios had a Harry Potter Celebration, which was attended by many Harry Potter fans. During the celebration, a very moving tribute was caught on video. To honor Alan Rickman the fans gathered in front of a section of the Harry Potter park that looks like London and raised their wands in an amazing show of respect for the late actor.

The reason raising wands is a great show of respect comes from the sixth book, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. At the end of the book, one of the main characters dies and this is how everyone at the school, teachers and students, show respect.

Inside the Magic, a blogging website, was there to record the tribute and shared the video. Check it out below. I'll be honest, it brought tears to my eyes and I wish I had been there to raise a wand too.
