Did you hear those fire trucks on Stadley Rough Road last night?

Danbury firefighters were dispatched to a two alarm fire which caused substantial damage to a home in Danbury, CT.

According to NBCconnecticut.com, Danbury Engine 23 arrived at the scene of the home at 43 Stadley Rough Road around 5:40 pm. Heavy smoke reported at the scene had Captain Joe Halas call for the second alarm.

Firefighters not only helped the owners of the home to safety, they also located several pets and made sure they were all accounted for and safely out of harm's way. They quickly got the fire under control and although the blaze was doused quickly, it caused enough damage to displace the owners and their pets until repairs can be made.

Firefighters fought the blaze from the inside of the home. However, the cause of the fire was not immediately known at the time of the blaze and it remains under investigation. Here is the official post that was published to the Danbury FD's Facebook page:
